MY NEW JOB IN CAPE TOWN!!!
I am the happiest girl in the worl right now!! Not only am I finally reunited with my man, MARTY, but I also just got a really good job at an online brand marketing and service management company here in Cape Town, with a banging salary and a WORKPERMIT! That means that I can stay here as long as I want to and work and live and be with Martin!! YAY!!!! So amazing!! And do you guys know whats even better???!

SENIOR BANQUET!!
Hello everyone!
We had our annual senior banquet last night! It is a very nice dinner for all the athletes where the seniors are being honored and recognized.. I will tell you more about it later, but here is a picture of me in my new dress!!
My parents arrived last night and I am sooo happy! we have spent the whole day together doing nice things =)

Hello again! SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG AGAIN TO UPDATE MY BLOG!
We are right in the middle of final exams right now and I have been super busy with all the studying.. I am graduating in 10 days so its getting real close!! It is crazy how much I have had to do this past week though, and how much I still have to do tomororw, tuesday and wednesday before my parents arrive!!
When they get here we are gonna hug and love each other for 2 days here in Greensboro before we are hitting the road up to CANADA and Niagara Falls!

Hamburgers, Beer and Shotguns!
Hello everyone!!
We had a team cookout over at Creed's house yesterday and it was a very successful evening! Except from eating AMAZING hamburgers (Creed's mom makes the best burgers with cheese and bacon) and drinking home-brewed beer (Creed's dad makes his own beew down in the basement and it is delicious!) we also had a nice SPARTAN CAKE and learned how to use a SHOTGUN!
Creed's dad was kind enough to give me 6 bottles of his home brewed beer that my dad can drink in about 10 days when he is finally here with me!!
Today is going to be an exciting day! I just got back from my regular 5 mile run (about 8 kilometers) and are going to the dogpark with my friend Katherine in a little bit. She is bringing her dog named Whiskey (haha I know its such an awesome name!!) and I am bringing Zoey, the german-shepard-mix that Martin and his roommate adopted from the animal shelter 2 years ago.
Tonight is gonna be alot of fun, cause I am actually going salsa dancing with some friends!! HAHAHA I promise to take alot of pictures and show you guys! We are meeting up at my friends hout around 8 for some cocktails and then we are going downtown for a salsa class, $5 for an hour, and then staying afterwards (when the place turns into a club and the bar opens) to practice our new skills!!! YAAYY!!!

WE FINISHED 3rd and I am oficially DONE with college golf =(
Hello everyone!!
This weekend was a very nice ending of my college golf career, I played rather good and finished in 11th place out of 55 and my team played rather good as well and came in 3rd place. Not too bad, we wanted to win of course but sometimes things don't go according to plans =)
I was so emotional after my last round that I actually cried a little, I couldn't believe that I am done with my college golf now! Only 3 more weeks til graduation and then off to the real life!! exciting but scary!!
Another cool thing is that I got named Southern Conference Student-Athelete of The Week which is rather cool, since there are thousands of athelets in our conference!! YAYY!!!! =)

Hello, right now we are in Hilton Head, South Carolina, playing the conference championship. We played the first round today and we are actually tied for 2nd, six shots off the lead! After playing today we went to a really nice sea food restaurant and had an amazing dinner, and then we went and got some ice cream =)

7.am Practice!!
Hello everyone!!
My team did really well in our last tournament down in Florida, so this week we have been working extra hard to get ready for the Conference Chapionship! We are leaving for Hilton Head, South Carolina today and will be playing sunday-monday-tuesday and hopefully come back to Greensboro as champions next week!!
I am very excited for this weekend, if we win this tournament we will qualify for the NCAA Regionals which would be the first time for UNCG Womens Golf!! If we don't win, this is going to be my last college tournament ever and I will be very sad =( so keeps your fingers crossed!!

Hello there!
Once again it has taken me over a week to update my blog which is unacceptable, i know!! Anyways, we are down in Florida now playing the last tournament of the year before conference next weekend, which means that this is my last regular college tournament ever!! It is so sad when I think about it! I am gonna miss it a lot that is for sure... I love golf with all my heart and it is gonna be hard not to play tournaments and stuff anymore.. good times has come and gone!!
we went to a nice dinner at the golfclub earlier tonight and they have a little tradition where they bring all the seniors up on stage and give them flowers, so me and nelly had to go up and receive flowers and appaludes which was awesome =) tomorrow is the first day of the tournament, 36 holes, and then on sunday its 18 holes.. i will update you guys on how we are doing, but right now I am going to bed cause its gonna be a long day tomorrow!!

Hello everyone!
This week has been VERY stressfull.. I have had alot to do in school and I am so happy this week is finally over. Tomorrow is the first day of our home-tournament, Bryan National. There are 18 teams here, and 13 of them are ranked top-20 in USA! So it is going to be a great tournament and some great golf.
Me and Nelly are doing OK with our sugar-detox so far.. Its only been 4 days but it is so hard!! Especially when my dear mother leaves comments here on my blogg telling me about all the candy her and my dad are enjoying now over Easter... mmmm.. Im so jealous!!
Anyways, I am gonna relax and watch a movie now, I have to stay up for a few more hours becasue I am doing landry.. Typical me to always save it til the last minute!! My outfit for tomorrow has to be ready before I go to bed!
I am so excited that it is finally April.. Only 5 weeks until my parents are arriving here in Greensboro! I cannot wait to show them around and to hug them and kiss them!
For those of you who have asked me when I am coming home to Sweden etc, here is the plan:
I am gonna be back in Laholm on May 18th, a Tuesday.
Martin is arriving in Laholm on May 21, a Friday, and is staying for 2,5 weeks, until June 6.
After he leaves to go back to Cape Town I am most likely gonna stay for another 2-3 weeks or so to spend some quality time with friends and family.. I am planning on moving down to Cape Town no later than July 1st.. Me and Martin are tired of having a long distance relationship and I really want to start the real life as soon as possible! I want to start working and making my way up the ladder =)

Tornado warnings, Fat Camp and Party!
Hello again! For those of you who didn't read the conversation between me and Nelly yet, the one that I posted under this blog entry, go ahead and read it before you read this in order for it to make sense! =)
Anyways, there is a tornado warning here in Greensboro right now! The weather is really bad outside, its been thunder and lightning all night and right now the wind is really crazy! Hopefully I am safe inside my room though... If the house starts shaking I will go and lay down in the bathtub!! haha lol...
Anyways, so me and Nelly came up with the best solution EVER for our unhealthy eating habits. Tomorrow, we are starting something called Extreme Senior Makeover 2010 and it will go on for 5 weeks, until the day before our Senior Banquet. The senior banquet is a nice dinner party for all the athletes at our University where we are celebrating all the seniors (including me and Nelly this year) that are graduating. You have to wear a nice dress and you have to go up on stage infront of everyone and receive a little gift thing. The problem for me and Nelly are NOT that we are too big to fit into our dresses (we are both in decent shape) the problem is that we are eating so much candy and ice cream and stuff that we might actually get a heart attack while climbing the stairs on the way up to the stage! And this would be a DISASTER!! So, we need to STOP eating cookies and candy and ice cream and stuff now and start eating more fruit and veggies instead.
Our goal with this Extreme Senior Makeover 2010 thing is to feel great and look great when its time to walk across the stage at the senior banquet, and more importantly, when we walk across the big stage at the real graduation ceremony!
So, I will give you guys some updates on how we are doing. We have the rules all written down, but pretty much the rules are: 1. don't eat any candy or ice cream or cookies for 5 weeks. 2. One free-card a week that can be used to eat a cookie or a candy or whatever we want. If we dont use the free-card one week it cannot be saved to another week. hehe. 3. breaking the rules will result in NO FREE-CARDS AT ALL for 5 weeks which would be terrible...
Now to something else: me nelly and desse had a little swedish reunion last night. We had some beers, listened to good old swedish music and stared at each other with my 3D glasses. HAHAHA! it was good fun! Here are some pictures =)

So me, nelly and desse went to the mall today and did some SERIOUS shopping! It makes me SO HAPPY to buy stuff, am I alone in this feeling?!?!

A Sunny Afternoon Watching Baseball =)
Hello!!
After spending the entire morning in the library I had to be outside during the afternoon. The weather today has been AWESOME, warm and sunny and after I got back from class (after a quick stop for a pint of Sweetwater at Old Town) I convinced Valerie to come with me to the UNCG vs. Chapel Hill baseball game. We only stayed for half the game but it was a vey nice time in the sun!

Back from Pinehurst!
Hello everyone!
We came back from Pinehurst yesterday and we had a couple of really nice days there! For those of you who don't know, Pinehurst #2 is where they play the U.S Open and it is an AMAZING course! We played Pinehurst #6 this year for our tournament, but we went over to the Main Clubhouse on #2 an took some pictures and did some shopping in the golfshop. It was so AWESOME!! It looked even better then it does on TV =)
We had wonderful weather when we arrived on Saturday, and we played 18 holes, practices and went for a nice team dinner. Coach took us to Cold Stone afterwards which is the best ice cream place that has ever been invented by man!! After the ice cream, me and Ana spend the night watching Disney movies, we watched Snow White and Mulan and it was definitely alot of fun!
The tournament itself didn't go exactly like we planned it. We did good the first day but didn't step up on the last round so we finished 9th out of 18. It might not sound too bad but trust me, we could have done alot better!
I am about to head over to the library now and do some schoolwork before I have to go to class. Being away on golftournaments is making us miss alot of school and classes, so we always have a ton to do when we get back!

It was so interesting walking around in the clubhouse- almost like a little museum!

Spring break is over, and I am getting sick!
It is always the same, after a week of nice relaxation the cold symptoms are creeping up on me! Running nose, a little fever and tired! I took too many NyQuil last night so I was still drowsy when I woke up this morning, haha! I am not doing the same mistake tonight since we have workouts at 8 O'Clock tomorrow morning..
Anyways, a cold doesn't stop me from going to school and to practice, and unfortunately it doesnt stop me from spending this entire night studying either.. I am waiting for my friend Anna to come and pick me up any minute, we are heading down to the local coffee shop to spend a couple of hours studying there. Sometimes you just need to get out of your room!!
It is only 2 months left until my graduation now and I am getting so excited just to think about it! I can't wait to see my parents again, and to go back to Sweden and see Martin and all my other wonderful friends! We are definitely making a trip to Helsingborg to have a coffee at the harbour, just like last year!
