Hello again! For those of you who didn't read the conversation between me and Nelly yet, the one that I posted under this blog entry, go ahead and read it before you read this in order for it to make sense! =)

Anyways, there is a tornado warning here in Greensboro right now! The weather is really bad outside, its been thunder and lightning all night and right now the wind is really crazy! Hopefully I am safe inside my room though... If the house starts shaking I will go and lay down in the bathtub!! haha lol...

Anyways, so me and Nelly came up with the best solution EVER for our unhealthy eating habits. Tomorrow, we are starting something called Extreme Senior Makeover 2010 and it will go on for 5 weeks, until the day before our Senior Banquet. The senior banquet is a nice dinner party for all the athletes at our University where we are celebrating all the seniors (including me and Nelly this year) that are graduating. You have to wear a nice dress and you have to go up on stage infront of everyone and receive a little gift thing. The problem for me and Nelly are NOT that we are too big to fit into our dresses (we are both in decent shape) the problem is that we are eating so much candy and ice cream and stuff that we might actually get a heart attack while climbing the stairs on the way up to the stage! And this would be a DISASTER!! So, we need to STOP eating cookies and candy and ice cream and stuff now and start eating more fruit and veggies instead.
Our goal with this Extreme Senior Makeover 2010 thing is to feel great and look great when its time to walk across the stage at the senior banquet, and more importantly, when we walk across the big stage at the real graduation ceremony!
So, I will give you guys some updates on how we are doing. We have the rules all written down, but pretty much the rules are: 1. don't eat any candy or ice cream or cookies for 5 weeks. 2. One free-card a week that can be used to eat a cookie or a candy or whatever we want. If we dont use the free-card one week it cannot be saved to another week. hehe. 3. breaking the rules will result in NO FREE-CARDS AT ALL for 5 weeks which would be terrible...

Now to something else: me nelly and desse had a little swedish reunion last night. We had some beers, listened to good old swedish music and stared at each other with my 3D glasses. HAHAHA! it was good fun! Here are some pictures =)

I know that its been more than a week since my last update and that I am already failing to live up to the standards of a real blogger, but I will definitely try and get better! I do have a good excuse though! I brought my camera and my computer to Orlando but I forgot to bring the cable that connects the camera to the computer so there was no way I could upload the pictures until now =) I LOVE EXCUSES =) haha

Anyways, so we came back from Orlando yesterday and it was definitely a very nice trip. Unfortunately, I didn't break any course records this time (I wasn't even close actually, hehe) and I didn't really play close to my capacity at all to be honest, but LUCKILY I have teammates that are very reliable!! Our little freshman Courtney finished tied for 6th and my roommate Nelly finished 17th. Not bad since there are 90 girls in the field! The team finished 10th out of 17 and that is not too crappy either actually, since a lot of the teams are good with a higher ranking than us. But of course we could have done better, as always, and we will try to kick some serious butt this weekend in Augusta where we are going friday-monday. I personally, am definitely gonna step up! There are gonna be fireworks this weekend I tell you, that is how good I am gonna play!!

Other than that, the weekend in Orlando was nice. The golfcourse was spread out over an area bigger than entire Sweden, or at least thats what it felt like! The practice round was really windy, but the second day when actually started the tournament and played 36 holes was very nice. I could finally wear shorts!! YAY!!  The third day got delayed becaue of rain, and when we finally played it was windy like crazy! On one whole I hit a 9 iron 158 yards (which is like 30 yards longer than i normally do!) and one one hole I hit a 5 iron 135 yards (which is like 30 yards shorter than I normally do). But its all a part of golf!

My dad turned 50 on Tuesday and I missed him alot. I was thinking about him on the golfcourse all day and I wish he would have been there to watch me play. But at least I wil see him soon! He and mammsen are comming here in the beginning of May! =)

I almost bought these to coffee mugs for Me and Martin but I realized
that it would be hard to bring them with me first back to Greensboro, then
home to Sweden, and then down to South Africa.. So I just took a picture of them
instead!! =)



This is one of the MEGA HOUSES out on the golfcourse. There was houses like
this everywhere and it was hard t focus on playing golf from time to time, haha!

As you can see, it was cold and windy during the practice round, no
shorts for me then!
